Women's Volleyball Reveals Locker Room Renovations

Loretto, Pa. - The Saint Francis women's volleyball team returned to campus for the 2019 fall season on Friday and was welcomed by a newly renovated locker room.

Renovations on the locker room began early this summer through the support of Rev. Malachi Van Tassell, T.O.R, Ph.D and the President's Council at the University.

"This is a monumental day for our student-athletes," said head coach Sara McMullen. "Coming back to the new locker room and all of the upgrades is a great way to kick off our season. I want to thank everyone who played a part in making this happen through their generous contributions and time."

The project was funded through personal contributions to Red Flash Futures and the University.

Additionally, renovations have been finalized in DeGol Arena, home to SFU women's volleyball, which includes new flooring and seating.

The Red Flash open the season on Aug. 30 at the Youngstown State Invitational.
