Emmitsburg, Md. – Saint Francis women's basketball (11-13, 9-4 NEC) hits a critical part of NEC play when it travels to play at Mount St. Mary's (14-9, 9-2 NEC) on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m.

Scouting Mount St. Mary's
The Mountaineers are in second place in the NEC standings, but have played two less games than the Red Flash. Mount has won four straight contests and is coming off a 77-57 win over LIU on Monday. The Mountaineers have yet to face either Saint Francis or Robert Morris (12-0) this season and will meet both teams twice over the next six games. Mount has the NEC's second-best scoring offense (67.7 ppg) and leads the league in field goal percentage (41.0%). Sophomore Michaela Harrison paces the team with 12.8 ppg, while Kendall Bresee is averaging a team-high 6.9 rpg.

Series History
Saint Francis leads the all-time series history 38-29 and has won the last four meetings with the Mountaineers. SFU defeated Mount 83-72 the last time the teams squared off on Feb. 2, 2019 in Emmitsburg, Md.

Redshirt sophomore Lili Benzel (Altoona, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle (Shippensburg)) scored a season-high 13 points to help lead the Red Flash to a 48-39 road victory over Sacred Heart on Monday. Benzel was 5-of-11 from the floor, including 3-of-7 from three-point range, while adding a career-high four assists.

Dapaa pulls down career-best in rebounds
Sophomore Jada Dapaa (Potomac, MD/Holy Child) pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds in SFU's win over Sacred Heart. It was the most boards for an SFU player since Ace Harrison (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor (Maryland)) also recorded 16 rebounds on Feb. 13, 2017.

NEC standings
Saint Francis sits in third place in the NEC standings and has already clinched an NEC tournament spot. The Red Flash are in good position to host a first round game, which is awarded to the top four finishers. Fourth place Merrimack (8-4) can't qualify for the NEC tournament due to its NCAA reclassification period. Fairleigh Dickinson and Bryant are currently tied for fifth with 5-6 conference records.
