Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Blackmon's career-high 30 points lead SFU over Robert Morris

Loretto, Pa. – Redshirt senior Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) poured in a career-high 30 points, senior Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./Delsea) added 19 points and junior Mark Flagg (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) matched his season-high with 19 points as the Saint Francis men's basketball team (18-8, 11-4 NEC) equaled its overall win total from the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons in a decisive 86-71 win over Robert Morris.

With the victory, Saint Francis moves into the driver's seat to secure the No. 1 overall seed in the NEC Tournament with three regular-season games remaining.

Krimmel's Reaction

"I thought we had a great day of practice yesterday and it certainly carried over tonight," said head coach Rob Krimmel. "Our guys were excited to play a great team in a great atmosphere and we executed at an extremely high level for 40 minutes."

How it Happened

Blackmon set the tone, scoring early and often to stake the Red Flash to a 41-31 halftime lead. Blackmon drilled 7-of-9 shot attempts and 4-of-6 three-pointers over the first 20 minutes. SFU wasted little time extending its lead in the second half, sparked once again by Blackmon who threw down a monstrous dunk in transition. Flagg and Braxton helped the cause with strong work inside as Robert Morris never pulled within single digits all half.
