Women's Soccer Falls To Mount St. Mary's In Season Finale

» The Red Flash drop their last game of the season against Mount St. Mary's, 1-0.
» Saint Francis had a season-high 10 shots on goal against the Mountaineers.
» Red Flash goalkeepers Sarah McConnon and Emma Sawich combined for four saves on the afternoon.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
In the 13th minute of the game, Mount St. Mary's Elisabeth Rockhill centered a ball that was headed in by Hannah Cooksey to make the score 1-0. The Red Flash had various chances throughout the game after this goal but couldn't find the back of the net. 


FLASH MOMENTS
Red Flash forward Leanna Choo had multiple chances to get points on the board including a one-on-one opportunity but Mountaineers goalkeeper Maggie Barron shut the door. 

In the 39th minute, Rhiallie Jessell had a scoring opportunity off of a free kick but just missed the bottom right side of the net as the ball went out of play. 

FLASH NUGGETS
Even with this loss, the Red Flash still hold an overall record of 22-11-1 against Mount St. Mary's.

After today, this was the first loss for Saint Francis against the Mountaineers since the 2009 season.
