» Central Connecticut State University kicked a 31-yard field goal as time ran out to secure a 24-21 decision against Saint Francis University in Northeast Conference (NEC) football action on Saturday.
» Justin Sliwoski (Greensburg, Pa.) went 14-for-20 for 254 yards and three touchdowns.
» Brandan Lisenby (Alexandria, Va.) had four catches for 86 yards, and Kahtero Summers (Coatesville, Pa.) registered four catches for 69 yards. Both hauled in a touchdown pass from Sliwoski on the afternoon.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
With the game tied at 21, Central Connecticut State got the ball back with 2:21 left in the game at the Saint Francis 27. The Blue Devils then earned 13 yards and kicked a field goal as time expired to earn the win.
FLASH MOMENTS
Marques DeShields (Clementon, N.J.) caught a 14-yard touchdown pass from Sliwoski to give the Red Flash a 7-3 lead with 2:55 left in the first quarter. The play prior to DeShields touchdown, Sliwoski hit
Hunter Brown (Wellsboro, Pa.) for a 53-yard pass play.
Lisenby then increased the lead to 14-3 when he hauled in a 70-yard touchdown pass from Sliwoski with 13:53 left in the second quarter. The Red Flash went into halftime with a 14-10 lead. Summers had a 16-yard reception while Sliwoski started the drive with a seven-yard rush.
After Central Connecticut State registered a field goal, and a touchdown with a two-point conversion to take a 21-14 lead, Summers tied the game at 21 with a 37-yard touchdown strike from Sliwoski. DeShields rushed for 17 yards including a two-yard rush on a fourth and one play to continue the drive. Summers also had a 16-yard reception in the game-tying drive.
FLASH NUGGETS
Sliwoski finished the year with 1,165 yards passing and 12 touchdown passes. It is the second time this season he threw three touchdowns in a game after tossing three against LIU on October 9.
Summers had 44 receptions for 674 yards and nine touchdowns during the 2021 season. He moves into fourth place on the program's all-time single-season list with his nine touchdown passes.
DeShields, who rushed for at least 70 yards in a game for the sixth time this season, posted 767 yards rushing on 167 carries with four rushing touchdowns. He also had 20 catches for 228 yards and two TDs to combine for 995 yards on the year.
The 10 tackles for Foray move him over the 100 tackle mark for the year and finishes with 102 tackles. He becomes the first defender since Anthony Bowman in 2011 to reach 100 tackles in a season.
Gregory Reddick (Miami, Fla.) added eight tackles and
Gio Vonne Sanders (Jeannete, Pa.) had seven tackles on the afternoon. It is the second-straight game Sanders has registered at least seven tackles in a game and fifth time overall this season. He finished the year with 63 tackles. Reddick has posted 20 tackles in his last three games and 44 on the year.
Alex Schmoke (Bellwood, Pa.) finished 15 of 17 on the year in field goals and 25 of 27 on extra-point attempts. The 15 made field goals are the third most in single-season program history.
The Red Flash allowed 18 points or less in six of its last seven games.
