Kaitlyn Maxwell hit a buzzer-beater to end the first half and cut the deficit to 31-27. Out of the half, Duquesne's Myers hit nine-straight points in the first two minutes of the third quarter and opened the lead to 40-27.
The Red Flash fought through the stretch and cut the lead to 48-44 at the end of the third quarter. Duquesne responded with seven-straight points to open the fourth quarter and increased the lead up11 points before an eventual 70-61 win.
FLASH MOMENTS
Maxwell hit a buzzer-beating three-point shot at the end of the second quarter that cut the Red Flash deficit to four points.
Down 12 early in the fourth quarter, the Red Flash twice cut the Dukes' lead to four points, 58-54 and 61-57, before the nine-point loss.
