CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Saint Francis men's basketball alum
Keith Braxton has signed on with WoCo Showtime to play in the Charleston Regional of The Basketball Tournament beginning July 17.
Braxton, who originally signed with America's Dream, will play with the squad comprised primarily of Wofford alumni now that the 64-team bracket has been announced.
WoCo Showtime, which includes NCAA all-time three-point leader Fletcher Magee, is the 15-seed in the Charleston Regional. They will face Best Virginia, a team of WVU alumni, in the first round on July 17 at 2 p.m. Charleston Region games will be played at the Charleston Coliseum with the Championship Weekend played July 31-August 3 at UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio. The winning team of the August 3 championship on ESPN captures a million-dollar prize to split between its players.
Braxton joins fellow SFU alum
Deivydas Kuzavas in The Basketball Tournament. Kuzavas signed with Category 5, a team of mainly Miami alumni, earlier this week.
