Saint Francis Field Hockey Upended At Miami (Ohio)

» Saint Francis fell to Miami (Ohio) 4-0 in non-conference field hockey action on Sunday

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
Miami (Ohio) scored a goal in the first quarter, twice in the third quarter and once in the fourth quarter for the 4-0 win.

FLASH MOMENTS
Eva Valentini (Junin, Buenos Aires, Argentina) had a pair of shots blocked in the fourth quarter in the 56th minute, seven seconds apart from each other.

Claudia Ortiz (Madrid, Spain) had the only shot on goal, but was turned away in the 59th minute.

FLASH NUGGETS
After winning three in a row, the Red Flash have lost its last two games going into its conference opener.

Saint Francis is 1-4 on the road, while the Loretto program is 2-2 at home this season and have won its last two matches on DeGol Field.

Valentini was named the NEC Player and Rookie of the Week and South was the Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Red Flash to a pair of wins last week.
