FLASH QUOTES
"Certainly disappointed in the way we competed tonight especially from a rebounding standpoint. Against a good team, on their home court and with a great crowd when you give them multiple opportunities at the basket that's hard. When we rebound, we are a pretty good basketball team and when we don't it makes it really hard. You have got to limit them to one shot and those are momentum plays. We have got to do a better job rebounding especially on the road. When they grind it out on offense, you got to finish the play because its not over till you rebound
." - said head coach Rob Krimmel on the game
"It was a tough stretch here against two really good teams, but we need to get back at it with some home games."
- said Krimmel on the last two games

FLASH NUGGETS
Land fueled the team in scoring for the third time this season and the second time in the last three games. The sophomore has posted double figures 11 times this season and 20 times in his career. He has posted at least 15 points in a game seven times in his sophomore campaign after only scoring over 15 points twice in his freshman year.
Dixon-Conover posted double figures for the 13th time this season and 32nd time in his career. The redshirt senior needs 14 points for 700 points in his career.
Cohen finished with seven points and six rebounds while Thompson registered seven points and five boards.
Flagg, who finished the game with two points and three rebounds, moves into a tie for 20th place with William Saller (653, 1952-56) on the program's all-time career rebound list with 653 caroms. Flagg can move into 19th place with 12 boards.
The Saint Francis coaching staff wore bow ties in honor of the memory of legendary Mount St. Mary's head coach Jim Phelan, who passed away over the summer. Phelan coached the Mount for 49 years and won 830 career games. Legend has it that when he started coaching in Emmitsburg in 1954-55, he asked his wife what to wear and she gave him the bow tie. Phelan started that season on a five-game winning streak that included an 86-79 win against the Maurice Stokes-led "Frankies" on Dec. 12, 1954 and the rest is history.
