TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
Mount St. Mary's jumped out to a 9-4 lead in the first three minutes before Saint Francis took a narrow 21-18 advantage at the end of the quarter. The Mountaineers tied the game at 21 before a 13-0 run by Saint Francis opened a 34-21 lead.
Jenna Mastellone scored all-eight of her points during the crucial run.
Mount St. Mary's cut the deficit to 38-32 at the half and were within three, 40-37, one minute into the third quarter. Saint Francis responded with a 15-4 run that opened the game to 55-41 behind six points from Maxwell.
After they took a 55-46 lead into the fourth quarter, the Red Flash led by at least eight points and as many as 15 points before their eventual 70-58 win.
FLASH NUGGETS
McLemore's season-high 19 points were two shy of a career-high 21 she set with Hartford in 2019. She set a new career-high with eight made field goals.
Dapaa eclipsed the 600-career rebound mark and sits at 618 in her career, good for 13th all-time in program history. She raised her season average to 11.5 and has a team-leading 2.8 assists per game.
Maxwell's 18 points were her third-most this season and she has seven games with at least 15 points this season. She fell one field goal made short of tying her career-high.
Saint Francis snapped its four-game losing streak to Mount St. Mary's in the game. The Red Flash shot over 50-percent from the field for the second time this season.
