LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Saint Francis Women's Water Polo team wins the first two games of their season against St. Francis Brooklyn and VMI.
The Red Flash started their 2022 season on the right foot scoring 22 goals in total on Saturday afternoon. Eight different Red Flash players found the back of the net in today's two matchups, junior
Taylor Halbauer leading the team with ten and five coming from sophomore
Emese Szucs.

STATS/NOTES
- Five Red Flash players found the back of the net, led by five from Taylor Halbauer. Emese Szucs chipped in with three and Haiden Lang, Abbie Carter, and Kim Frostad all added one each.
- The Red Flash made twelve goals on 24 attempts (50.0%).
- Addison Williams,Carter, Halbauer, and Szucs all recorded assists in the winning effort.
- Halbauer drew a game-high seven exclusions, Frostad was able to draw three while Maysen Seile, Williams, Szucs, and Lang all added one exclusion drawn.
- Freshman Isabel Lumley allowed four goals on seven saves for the Red Flash.

STATS/NOTES
- Halbauer led the way with five goals, while Szucs added two. Tori Navarro, Carissa Semple, and Seile added one each.
- The Red Flash collected seven bloccks total with Maysen Seile leading the way with three.
- Freshan goalie Grace Raquel tallied five saves while also collecting three steals
- This is the first time since 2017 that the Red Flash started the year with a 2-0 record.
UP NEXT
The Red Flash will travel north to Providence, RI for the Brown Invite. They will face Marist, Siena, LIU, and Wagner next Saturday and Sunday.
