THE WORD ON THE BLUE DEVILS
The Blue Devils are 12-12 overall and 6-6 in the Northeast Conference. CCSU most recently defeated Merrimack and Stonehill in straight sets last weekend. Prior to the team's two wins last weekend, the Blue Devils dropped three consecutive NEC matches.

Isabelle Roufs earned a spot on the NEC Prime Performer list this week and has 34 total blocks on the season. Nyjha Marcelin leads the team in kills with 204 on the season, while Rachel Picha leads the Blue Devils in digs with 284 this season.

LAST TIME WE MET THE BLUE DEVILS
The Red Flash last met the Blue Devils earlier this season in Loretto, Pa. when the Red Flash defeated the Blue Devils over five sets. CCSU holds the overall advantage against Saint Francis at 12-29 in the overall series.

THE WORD ON THE PIONEERS
Sacred Heart stands at first place in the Northeast Conference with an overall record of 19-8 and 11-1 in the conference. In addition, the Pioneers are the only team that has already clinched a spot in the Northeast Conference tournament. The Pioneers have won its last 11 games, with only having one conference loss to the Blue Devils of Central Connecticut.

Sarah Ciszek, Reghan Palanchi and Emma Smallcomb are three big leaders for the Pioneers volleyball team and were all three recently named to the NEC Prime Performer list. Ciszek leads the conference in assists this season with 954 on the season. Palanchi leads the Pioneers in blocks with 97.0 on the season, while Smallcomb leads the Pioneers as a libero with 479 digs on the season.

LAST TIME WE MET THE PIONEERS
The Red Flash and Pioneers last met in a thrilling five-set matchup earlier this season in Loretto, Pa. The Red Flash were unable to claim the win but put up a very good fight in the match.
Madi Tyus led the team offensively in this season's previous match to the Pioneers with 22 kills and four service aces, while
Emma Fenton posted 47 assists in the game.

The Pioneers hold the advantage in the overall series against the Red Flash at 19-16.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash have won its last four games with three of those being straight set wins. The team most recently claimed two straight set wins over LIU and St. Francis Brooklyn for the Red Flash to stay at third in the Northeast Conference with an overall record of 10-15 and conference record of 8-4.

Four Red Flash women's volleyball players earned the attention of the NEC this week.
Madi Tyus being named NEC Player of the week, while
Emma Fenton,
Maggie Hogan and
Skye Eicher were named NEC Prime Performers. Tyus leads the conference in kills this season with 283, while Fenton is second in the conference in assists with 840 on the season.
