THE WORD ON LEHIGH
• Lehigh comes into the contest winners of two straight to even its record to 2-2 after downing Marist 64-54 on Wednesday.
• Keith Higgins, Jr. leads the team with 12.5 ppg., while Evan Taylor (11.8 ppg.) and Jakob Alamundun (10.3 ppg.) are also averaging double figures.
LAST TIME WE MET
• Josh Cohen and Myles Thompson combined for 29 points in the second half to propel Saint Francis past Lehigh 79-68 on Nov. 28, 2021. Cohen finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Thompson had 17 points.
• Ramiir Dixon-Conover and Ronell Giles, Jr. added 16 points in the win.

AN SFU WIN WOULD
• Be the third-straight win against Lehigh and the fourth in the last five meetings.
• Be the fourth-straight win against the Mountain Hawks at DeGol Arena (2015-16, 2017-18, 2019-20).
• End a two-game losing streak.
• Improve the team's record to 2-1 at home this season.
FRANKIES TIDBITS IN A FLASH
• Saint Francis played at Hinkle Fieldhouse in its last game at Butler on Nov. 17, which is the location of the famous final scenes in the 1986 movie Hoosiers. Head coach Rob Krimmel reenacted the measurement scene from the movie with the team at the shoot around the day of the game.
• The Red Flash is 27-39 against the Patriot League and 20-15 at home.
• Lehigh and American have been on the schedule every year since Krimmel has been at the helm of the Red Flash except the 2020-21 season due to CoVID-19. The team will so play Bucknell this season, marking the fourth time under Krimmel's tenure the squad will play three teams from the Patriot League (2012-13, 2013-14, 2021-22, 2022-23).
• Krimmel is 9-12 against the Patriot League, but has a 9-4 record since the 2015-16 season. When the Loretto program welcomes both American and Lehigh to town, the Red Flash has won both matches in the last three occasions. The squad went 2-1 last season against the Patriot League thanks to a home win against Bucknell and a road win at Lehigh.
• Saint Francis is 336-305-2 against all the teams in the state of Pennsylvania. The Red Flash is 86-235 against NCAA Division I teams and 250-75-2 against non-NCAA Division I teams.
• The squad will play four fellow Keystone state teams this season, including the next three of the next six and four of the remaining nine non-conrerence games on the schedule
• Saint Francis will face Lehigh (Nov. 21), Bucknell (Nov. 30), Saint Vincent (Dec. 8) and Robert Morris (Dec. 21) this season.
• Krimmel is 21-19 against the state of Pennsylvania.
• Saint Francis has played its most games against teams from the western part of the state in program history. The Red Flash have tangled with Robert Morris the most in the state with 90 meetings. Duquesne has been on the squad 75 times, Saint Vincent 65 times, Westminster 43 times, Geneva 39 times and Pittsburgh 30 times.
• Saint Vincent was the first-ever game in DeGol Arena on Dec. 4, 1972 and the two teams will tangle 50 years and four days later on Dec. 8. It will be the first meeting between the two teams since 1975-76 after the two teams played 65 times up to that season.
• Saint Francis looks to end a two-game losing streak when it starts a three-game homestand on Monday against the Mountain Hawks.
• The Red Flash have posted a three-game losing streak or more five times under Krimmel in non-conference play.
• Saint Francis will be at home for the next three games against Lehigh (Monday), Franciscan (Wednesday) and American (Saturday).
• It is the first time the team has had a three-game non-conference homestand since 2006-07 and the 10th time since joining the NEC.
• In 2006-07, the squad opened the season with a three-game homestand against Loch Haven, Saint Bonaventure and La Salle. The Red Flash went 2-1 in those games.
