Filippa Goula and
Destini Ward currently lead Saint Francis in scoring over the five games played this season. Goula with 43 points and Ward with 41 points on the season.

Saint Francis comes into Friday's game 0-5 overall. Most recently, the Red Flash took a heartbreaking 49-50 loss to Morgan State in Baltimore, Md., this past Tuesday. The Red Flash led for the entire second half until a final free throw from Morgan State secured the Bears the lead and win. Freshman Destini Ward led Saint Francis in scoring overall with 14 points with seven of those points coming from the free throw line. Filippa Gouola and Layla Laws followed closely behind with eight points apiece. Laws also led the Red Flash in steals with four.

The Ramblers come into Friday's game 1-4 overall after having a successful win over Western Michigan but tough losses to Milwaukee, Virginia, Eastern Illinois and Miami. Most recently came the team's 45-63 loss to Miami on Tuesday. Despite the loss, the Ramblers' Sophia Nolan notched double digit figures for the third consecutive game this season with 12 points in the game. Sitori Tanin led closely behind with 10 points and nine rebounds. Maya Chandler leads the Ramblers in scoring with 69 points on the season, while Tanin leads the way in boards with 30 this season.

Friday's game between Saint Francis and Loyola Chicago marks the first time the two teams have met in program history.
Around the NEC
Fairleigh Dickinson currently leads the Northeast Conference (NEC) standing at 4-2 overall. LIU and Wagner follow right in behind at 2-3 overall each. Three NEC teams have yet to record a win over each of their non-conference schedules so far including Merrimack, Saint Francis and Stonehill. Two NEC schools are currently in a one game winning streak with Fairleigh Dickinson defeating Davidson on Wednesday night and Central Connecticut claiming the win over Saint Peter's on Wednesday.
