OPENING TIP
• Saturday's game between Saint Francis and American marks the 25th edition of the series dating back to the 1972-73 season.
•The Eagles lead the series 14-9, but the Red Flash holds an 8-4 edge in Loretto including three-straight wins at home.
• American defeated Saint Francis 83-73 last season in the nation's capital, while the last Saint Francis win in the series was a 79-76 decision in 2019-20.

• American comes into the game 3-2 and winners of its last three tilts. The Eagles gave Jon Rothstein a chance to tweet "Georgetown loses a buy game to American. The epitome of brutal," thanks to its 74-70 win against Georgetown on Wednesday.

• American defeated Saint Francis 83-73 on December 8, 2021.
• Josh Cohen, who had two 18-point games in his career before the American game last year, notched his first career 20-point performance with 23 points against the Eagles.
• Ramiir Dixon-Conover added 19 points and Ronell Giles, Jr. chipped in 13 points.

Redshirt Josh Cohen posted 19 points, five rebounds and five assists to pace five Saint Francis players in double figures in a 120-53 win against Franciscan on Wednesday.
• Junior Maxwell Land (16 points, eight rebounds), redshirt senior Marlon Hargis (14 points), and redshirt juniors Brad McCabe (11 points, six rebounds) and Luke Ruggery (11 points) also found double figures in the game.
• Saint Francis scored 120 points in the game to establish a new DeGol Arena record for points and mark the fourth time in program history the Red Flash has scored at least 120 points in a game.
• The Loretto program scored 64 points in the first half to mark the first time since posting 62 points against Keystone in the firts half on Nov. 20, 2014.
• Saint Francis also scored 56 points in the second half against the Barons, a feat it accomplished three times last season.
• The 16 made 3-pointers marked the first time the team hit at least 15 from downtown since hitting 15 against Stony Brook on December 2, 2017.

• Saint Francis is coming off a 120-53 win against Franciscan on Wednesday. The 120 points established a new DeGol Arena record for points.
• It was the fourth time in program history the Red Flash has scored 120 points in a game and the 68th time in program history the squad posted 100 points in a game.
• Under head coach Rob Krimmel, Saint Francis has reached 100 points 11 times.
• The Red Flash is 8-2 in the next game after scoring 100 points in a game, including 6-0 at DeGol Arena. The squad is averaging 73.4 points per game in the game after scoring 100 points.
• Saint Francis is looking to score 100 points in back-to-back games for the first time since the 1970-71 when the squad lost to Old Dominion 109-105 and then defeated New Hampshire 122-74 in the next game.
• The New Hampshire game was also the last time the Loretto program scored over 120 points in a game.
