FLASH QUOTES
"I said to Pat Farabaugh before the game, when you look at the box score at the end, points in the paint were going to be the difference. If we can control the paint, I thought we would have a really good chance to win. But when you look at the final box score, they had 44 points in the paint, we had 24. Early-on defensively I thought we did a really good job. We had some lapses in the second half. The other number that we looked at, getting outrebounded 36-24. Those two numbers, just from a defensive standpoint aren't going to win too many games. When you get outrebounded and then they score 20 more points than you in the paint, you put yourself in a situation where you got to execute every single time down the floor." – head coach Rob Krimmel on the game

"Any time you're in a new position there is a learning curve. Very few people assume a new role and are experts at it right away. The number of hours and the number of experiences and the number of successes and failures that it takes. If you think from a leadership standpoint that you've arrived life is going to pass you by that goes for the head coach, captains and people who are in those positions because something new is going to evolve. The bottom line is if you care and you want to work at it, you'll be a good leader. I know these two guys (Josh Cohen and Maxwell Land) they care and they will be willing to work to become the best leader that those situations will allow them to become. – Krimmel on being a leader

"I think we need more of a sense of urgency in the second half. We need to learn how to finish games. The past couple games we've had great first halves. So being able to execute on both ends of the floor and just finish the game is just a big checkbox left open right now." – Max Land on what the team has to do to improve
