THE WORD ON BUCKNELL

• Be the first win for the Red Flash against the Patriot League this year in three tries.
• Be the squad's first road win of the year
• Be the second-straight win against Bucknell, the fourth winning streak against the Bison in program history and the first since the 2007-08 season
• Be the first road win in the series for the Red Flash since 2007
• Be the fifth-straight year (non-CoVID-19 season) the squad would end the month of November with a win and the third time against a Patriot League school
FRANKIES TIDBITS IN A FLASH
• After playing five of its first seven games at DeGol Arena, the Red Flash will now play five of its final six non-conference games on the road.
• The squad will have its first two-game road trip of the season this week at Bucknell on Wednesday and at Ohio State on Saturday. After a brief stop at home on December 8, the Red Flash will travel to Hawaii (December 11), Miami (December 17) and Robert Morris (December 21). It will be the longest road trip of the season until the Loretto team plays four-straight road games in NEC play to end January and start the month of February.
• Saint Francis is coming off ying and yang performances in its last two games. The squad posted some of best totals of the season in its 120-53 win against Franciscan Wednesday and then notched some of its lowest totals of the season in its 66-55 loss against American on Saturday.
• The Red Flash is 27-40 against the Patriot League and 7-23 on the road.
• Lehigh and American have been on the schedule every year since head coach Rob Krimmel has been at the helm of the Red Flash except the 2020-21 season due to CoVID-19. The team will so play Bucknell this season, marking the fourth time under Krimmel's tenure the squad will play three teams from the Patriot League (2012-13, 2013-14, 2021-22, 2022-23).
• Krimmel is 9-14 against the Patriot League, but has a 9-6 record since the 2015-16 season. The squad went 2-1 last season against the Patriot League thanks to a home win against Bucknell and a road win at Lehigh.
• The Frankies are looking to avoid being swept by the Patriot League for the third time under Krimmel after the Red Flash went 0-3 against the league in his first two seasons.

• Saint Vincent was the first-ever game in DeGol Arena on Dec. 4, 1972 and the two teams will tangle 50 years and four days later on Dec. 8.
• The squad returns to action at Ohio State on Saturday. It will be the team's second game of three against a Power 6 Conference team. Butler defeated Saint Francis 95-67 on November 17, and the Red Flash will travel to Miami on December 17.
• The Buckeyes are ranked No. 25 in the latest AP Poll and will be the first ranked opponent for Saint Francis since playing No. 15 Virginia on December 1, 2020.
