WASHINGTON, D.C. – Saint Francis University football defeated Georgetown 38-24 in its final non-conference game of the regular season. The win was Saint Francis' seventh in a row, which set a new Division I program record.

Turning Points of the Game
Georgetown took a 14-0 first-quarter lead with a 51-yard touchdown pass and a 31-yard interception for a touchdown. In the second quarter, Saint Francis responded with a 40-yard
Hunter Brown reception and 12-yard Sarratt touchdown and tied the game 14-14. On the first play after the Sarratt touchdown, the Hoyas scored a 75-yard touchdown and took a 21-14 lead into the half.
In the third quarter,
Jordan Jackson pushed across a one-yard touchdown and tied the game at 21. On the ensuing drive, Cook forced and interception and Saint Francis scored seven plays later and took a 28-21 lead. Cook then forced a fumble two plays later, recovered by
Gavin Thomas, on the next Hoyas' drive which led to an
Alex Schmoke field goal.
The Red Flash concluded the third quarter with Sarratt's second touchdown of the game and took a 38-21 lead. In the fourth quarter, a Georgetown field goal was the only score before Saint Francis clinched its 38-24 win.

Saint Francis' seven-game winning streak is the longest in the Division I era, breaking the six-game record set in 2016. It is the longest winning streak since nine straight wins across two seasons from Oct. 9, 1971 to Sept. 30, 1972.
Jackson produced his fourth 100-yard receiving game of the season and has posted at least nine catches in three games. His 68 receptions this season lead the NEC by 13 and he ranks second in the conference with 723 receiving yards.
Sarratt is now tied for the conference-lead with nine touchdown receptions and is seventh with 527 receiving yards.
Holmes led Saint Francis for rushing for the second game in a row and is now second on the team with 327 yards and three touchdowns. Eight different players have scored a rushing touchdown this season, led by
Lovell Armstead's four.
Cook has forced five turnovers this season (three interceptions and two forced fumbles), which is the most in a single season since Da'Jon Lee's six (six forced fumbles) in 2018.
O'Hara took over the team-lead with 65 tackles this season after he recorded a season-high 11, which is his second-highest total as a member of the Red Flash.
