Sacred Heart's Lucas Miguel Castrillo capitalized on a free kick in the 75th minute, scoring the Pioneers' match winning goal.

FLASH MOMENTS
The best chance at scoring for the Red Flash came two minutes into the match. Sophomore Patrick Heron (Lauder, Scotland/Earlston) collected a pass from sophomore Quinn O'Hearn (Nantucket, Mass./Darlington) at midfield and blasted a shot right outside of the penalty box.
 
The Red Flash back line iced the Pioneers on three consecutive corner kicks in the 69th minute. On the first two corner kick, defender Tom Schellbach (Frieberg, Germany/Faust Gymnasium) headed the kicks out of bounds. On the third corner kick, the Red Flash defense was able to play the ball up to midfield.

The Pioneers held the advantage over The Red Flash in shots (17-5), shots on goal (8-2) and corner kicks (8-0).
 
Leading the offensive efforts for Saint Francis was Ahmed Abd-Elazem (Perry Hall, Md./Perry Hall) and Heron with one shot on target a piece.
 
Goalkeeper Jordaine Jaeger (Munich, Germany/Gymnasium Neubiberg) registered seven saves in the 90 minutes.
