LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University women's basketball dropped a home game Thursday to Vermont, 68-48.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
The first quarter was a close battle between both programs, featuring Saint Francis' only lead of the game. However, a 14-0 run from Vermont in the second quarter gave the Catamounts its biggest lead of the first half to hold the 36-16 lead at the half.
The Red Flash and Catamounts were almost evenly scored in the third quarter with Saint Francis coming up with 19 points and Vermont producing 22 points in the third.
FLASH NUGGETS
Miller's 10 points on Thursday was a season high for the senior.
Semaya Turner notched her first collegiate three-pointer of her career in Thursday's game, while also recording a new game high of two rebounds.
