FLASH QUOTES
"I told our guys at the beginning of the game, we could make an excuse, we could talk about what we don't have, we could look at all of the circumstances or we could look at all of the blessings, the positive side of a lot of things. I know we were a little shorthanded, that's the reality. It's not an excuse. There are going to be opportunities in life where things aren't going to go your way. As an individual, you have your choice in how you respond. You can be negative and you can point out all the bad things we don't have. We didn't have a full roster – we were down a couple starters, but you could also look at all of the blessings." - head coach Rob Krimmel on the game

"We have five seniors who have done really good things on and off the court here at Saint Francis. This is something I vividly remember, my senior night. It ended in a very similar fashion against Central Connecticut. Certainly, disappointed that we were not able to send the seniors out with a win. Under the circumstances, I thought their effort, their energy, their togetherness was fantastic. The five seniors that have obviously meant a ton to this program and have won a lot of games for us. They have done a lot of great things off of the court, in the classroom and in the community. They'll be missed. Fortunately, they'll get to play a few more games on the road and wear the Red Flash uniform a couple more times. Proud of the effort." - Krimmel on senior night

"We talk about recruiting you want great basketball players obviously, but all five of these guys are going to leave their mark on whatever area, whatever community, whatever profession they desire or decide to embark on. They are special kids. They are going to be great professionals. They are going to be great family-men. They are going to be great people. I know that the pain that they feel right now, as a coach, I'm disappointed that we couldn't pull it out for them." - Krimmel on the seniors

"I didn't think it was going to hit me too hard, honestly. But as soon as I walked into the locker room, I was watching my career highlight reel – my first bucket at Saint Mary's five years ago. All of the highlights during my career, it just hit me right away. I was definitely emotional this entire game. Saw a lot of people in the stands that I am very close to throughout my years here. Here at Saint Francis it's all about family. You see the same people in the stands every single game and they are all coming up to me after the game saying, "Congratulations" and "We love you." It got to me for sure." - Mark Flagg on senior night

"The injuries have taught me a lot off the court. It's been so much more than basketball. It's a family situation here. Of course, going out there and not being able to participate in the game, that hurts. I'm still a hooper at heart. I want to play. I want to compete. Those small moments are what I am going to miss the most. Those interactions – with the trainer, seeing Lab got a scholarship, seeing younger guys just mature and come into their own, becoming young men together as a group it's what I have been blessed with. To take a step back off the court and just realize and appreciate that. The basketball journey didn't go the way I wanted it to go, but this life journey it continues." Tyler Stewart on senior night

"That meant the world to me, a dream come true. It's something I dreamed of as a little kid growing up. Coming here as a freshman, that was in the back of my mind. That was a goal I wanted to accomplish at some point here. To reach that goal, before my senior year was one of the best experiences I've ever experienced. It's an experience that very few get to feel, but it's worth more than words can explain. I appreciate everything Coach Krimmel and everyone on this team has done for me for the past few years. Coming to Saint Francis was the best decision of my life, no question about it." - A.J. Labriola on gaining a scholarship and coming to Saint Francis

FLASH NUGGETS
Cohen notched his second 25-point game in four games after registering a career-high 26 points in an overtime game against Merrimack on February 5. The redshirt sophomore has posted double figures in each of his last five games and has a pair of five-gamers sandwiched in between two single-digit performances. He is averaging 13.9 points and 7.9 points per game in his last 12 games. Cohen now has three 20-point games this season to match Dixon-Conover's total for the year.

Harrison becomes the sixth different player to hit 20-points in a game this season with his career-high performance. He also notched a season-high five rebounds and five assists on the afternoon. The sophomore averaged 14.5 points and 4.5 assists per game this week.

Land had his streak of six-straight games in double figures halted, but also hauled in six rebounds for the eighth time this season. The sophomore is the only player this season to start every game, and is averaging 12.7 points per game in his last nine contests.

Flagg posted four points and four rebounds in his final game at DeGol Arena. With his four points, he moved over the 900-point mark with 901 points to go along with 681 rebounds. Ikediashi posted two points, two rebounds and a steal in his first career start, while Labriola had a steal in nine minutes of work.

Saint Francis has 16 players on its roster and after Saturday's game all but four players listed on the roster will have started at least one game this season.

It was the third time this season the Red Flash played an overtime game, while the team is looking for its first extra session victory since a 77-71 overtime win against Central Connecticut State on Feb. 15, 2018. The Red Flash played overtime in the final regular season game at DeGol Arena for the second-straight season.

The squad remains tied for the No. 7 spot with Fairleigh Dickinson and Sacred Heart. With the loss, the Red Flash cannot finish any higher than sixth in the league standings. Central Connecticut State is one game ahead of the Loretto program with two games to play.
