Saint Francis men's 1, LIU men's 6

Singles
The Sharks took five of the six singles matches played to start Saint Francis' conference action.
Fabio Varella was the only Red Flash player with a victory in his 7-5, 6-2 No. 2 singles win. The win is his sixth of the spring season.
Daniel Vinces had the closes margin of defeat with his 3-6, 5-7 loss in No. 5 singles.
Doubles
LIU won the doubles point with victories in No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
Sebastian Pinos and Andrew Tiexeira took a win in No. 2 doubles 6-3. Varella and
Marc Fuste narrowly took a 6-7 (5-7) loss in No. 1 doubles.

LIU took the only three completed singles matches on Saturday. No. 2, No. 4 and No. 5 singles were unfinished after the Sharks already clinched the match victory.
Bente Vandeputte had the closest margin of defeat in completed matches with her 5-7, 1-6 loss in No. 3 singles.
Nagisa Miyake's match concluded with her in the lead 6-2, 5-1 in No. 5 singles.
Doubles
The Sharks earned the doubles point with wins in No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, 6-0 and 6-1 respectively. No. 2 doubles was marked unfinished after LIU already clinched the point, though the Sharks were staked to a 5-1 lead in that match when it was called.
