Saint Francis University men's volleyball dropped a 3-0 match against the Tigers of Princeton University on Saturday.

Blake Liprando (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and
Andrew Deardorff (Itasca, Ill./Lake Park) led the Red Flash squad with seven kills a piece on the day.

Joshua Blair (Matterson, Ill./ Marian Catholic) followed closely behind with five kills in the match and secured one serving ace and two blocks for his squad.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
With the Red Flash down 2-0, the third set was the answer of the game. The third set started off going back and forth until the Tigers went on yet another big run in the game with this one being a 5-0 run to make the score 17-7 for Princeton. The Tigers claimed the third and final set with a score of 25-15 for the 3-0 victory.

FLASH MOMENTS 

The Red Flash had the lead over the Tigers at the start of the first set to make the score 2-1. However, the Tigers came back with a 3-1 run to never allow Saint Francis men's volleyball to lead again the first set. Princeton claimed the first set with a score of 26-24. Despite losing the first set, the Red Flash were able to go on a 2-0 run thanks to a kill from Liprando and blocks from Blair and Deardorff to tie things up at 24 and extend the set.

The second set tied on a couple of occasions, but the Tigers held its lead for the entire second set for Princeton men's volleyball to claim the second set, 25-23. The biggest run for the Red Flash in the second set came with a 5-1 run that featured kills from Deardorff,
AJ Schmidt (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) and Blair and a service ace from Liprando.

FLASH NUGGETS
Ryan Parker (East Northport, N.Y./Northport) and Schmidt both set for the Red Flash squad in Saturday's match to put up a combined 25 assists.

Peyton Blain (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) led the Red Flash with six digs overall on Saturday.
