ANN ARBOR, MICH. – The Red Flash weren't able to have the same success they had on Saturday as they dropped games against #7 Michigan and Iona on their last day in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Saint Francis finished their weekend trip with a 2-2 record before they travel to California next weekend for the only time during the 2022 season.Â

STATS/NOTES
- The Red Flash were stalled on offense against one of the top teams in the country registering 18 shots but only getting one goal courtesy of Taylor Halbauer.
- Rebecca Pendleton and Halbauer had two steals a piece as Saint Francis totaled eight steals against Michigan.
- Isabel Lumley and Grace Raquel both split time in net for the Red Flash each notching two saves for Saint Francis.
- The Red Flash had 11 total turnovers which proved to be costly against a tough team like the Wolverines.Â

- The Red Flash were able to put up a better offensive output in this game on Sunday with Kayla Rhoads, Emese Szucs and Halbauer each scoring two goals to lead Saint Francis. Carissa Semple, Abbie Carter, Haiden Lang, and Pendleton each scored a goal to round out the Red Flash offense.
- Szucs and Semple led the Red Flash with two assists each with a team total of five in that category.
- In net, Isabel Lumley registered 11 saves but she also scored her first collegiate goal as a member of the Red Flash.Â
- The Red Flash now fall to 0-2 against Iona this season as this will be the last time they face the Gaels during the 2022 season.
UP NEXT
The Red Flash will go out to the west coast to take part in the San Diego State Tournament next weekend. The Red Flash will face off against Wagner, Austin, University of California-San Diego, and the hosting school San Diego State.
