Water Polo Finishes Weekend at Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. – The Red Flash didn't have the success they had hoped for going into the last weekend of regular season play with three losses all against ranked CWPA opponents. Saint Francis scored 19 goals over the weekend against Brown, Harvard and Michigan with Emese Szucs leading the way with four goals for the Red Flash.

STATS/NOTES
  • The Red Flash were led with goals from Emese Szucs with three and Kimberly Frostad with two. Taylor Halbauer, Kayla Rhoads, and Carissa Semple all netted one goal for Saint Francis in the loss. 
  • Addison Williams had a historic performance for the Red Flash tallying a school-record eight assists against Brown.
  • Saint Francis had nine exclusions drawn with Halbauer leading the team with three exclusions drawn.
  • Isabel Lumley totaled 12 saves to lead the Red Flash in that category.

STATS/NOTES
  • The Red Flash were stalled on offense against one of the top teams in the country registering 17 shots and registering three goals. Kayla Rhoads had two goals to lead the Red Flash and Taylor Halbauer finished the game with one goal. 
  • Saint Francis had six blocks in the game with Halbauer leading all players with two. 
  • Grace Raquel got the start in net and tallied five saves and one assist for the Red Flash.
  • The Red Flash drew seven exclusions with Rhoads and Kimberly Frostad leading the team with two each.

UP NEXT
Saint Francis will have a week off from competition before they travel to Bucknell University to compete at the CWPA Championships from April 22-24. Official game times and opponents are to be determined.
