LEWISBURG, PA. – The Red Flash came away with their first win of the CWPA Championships on Saturday as they defeated Mount St. Mary's for the second time this season. This is the third win all-time for the Red Flash at the CWPA's as they look to make it four tomorrow when they square off against Bucknell tomorrow morning.

STATS/NOTES
- Saint Francis set the tone early on securing an 8-3 halftime lead and was able to maintain that sizable cushion throughout the game to secure the win.
- The Red Flash goals came in bunches with sophomore Emese Szucs leading the team with four goals. Taylor Halbauer and Kayla Rhoads each found the back of the net twice for Saint Francis. Furthermore, it was Addison Williams, Haiden Lang, Kimberly Frostad, and Gwen Sloat who each notched one goal for the Red Flash. It was also Gwen Sloat's first goal of her career as a member of the Red Flash.
- The Saint Francis offense converted on many of their shot attempts totaling 17 shots with Halbauer leading the way with four attempts. Rhoads, Carter, and Szucs had three tries to round out the Red Flash shot leaders.
- Five Red Flash players being Frostad, Rhoads, Carter, Halbauer, and Williams all tallied two assists to lead that category for Saint Francis. Lang and Szucs had one assist each to round out the assist total for the Red Flash.
- Goalie Isabel Lumley started the game for Saint Francis and notched five saves, while Grace Raquel came in during the 3rd period and tallied a steal for the Red Flash.

The Red Flash will be back in the pool tomorrow as they face off against the host school for the CWPA's, Bucknell. It will be the final game for Saint Francis during the weekend stretch and it will be streamed live on CWPA TV at 9:00 AM.
