LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University softball drops the final game of their series against Bryant 5-2. Despite the loss, the Red Flash still took a 2-1 series victory over the Bulldogs.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
» Saban led off the game with a double, but Saint Francis could not bring her home before Bryant scored the game's first run in the bottom half after Marsden walked the bases loaded.
» In the third inning, Saban drove home
Emily Nunez and tied the game 1-1. Bryant responded in the bottom half with two runs scored on a Marcel two-run single.
» Hernandez cut the deficit to 3-2 with a solo home run in the fourth inning. In the bottom of the fifth inning Bryant's Marcel drove in two more runs with a double that opened a 5-2 lead.
» Saint Francis had runners on second and third with two outs in the seventh, but
Olivia Ulam flied out to deep right center field and Bryant clinched its 5-2 win.

» Saban raised her batting average to .453 this season and finished the weekend series 5-for-9 with one double and two RBIs.
» Hernandez's home run was her first of the season and the third of her collegiate career.
