Red Flash Women's Soccer Gets Ready for In-State Battle Against Robert Morris

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Saint Francis stays on the road to face former NEC rival, the Robert Morris Colonials at 1pm.
>> The Red Flash come into the contest with one loss while the Colonials defeated VMI in their season opener to begin the year 1-0.
>> Saint Francis is looking to extend their win streak to three games agaisnt the Colonials. 

THE WORD ON ROBERT MORRIS
Robert Morris was able to shutout the visiting Keydets of VMI in their season opener, 2-0. The Colonials were guided by their two seniors on the stat sheet with Sheridan Reid and Gabriella Lecuona being the lone goal scorer's from Thursday's contest. Goalkeeper Isabella Bohlen didn't get a lot of action in net en route to pitching a shutout securing four saves on just seven shots faced. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash was unable to secure their first win of the season at Bucknell as they fell 4-1. Saint Francis was led by Lauren Pyle on offense who secured her first goal of the season on a beautiful corner kick from just over 20 yards out. Goalkeeper Sarah McConnon got the call to start the season and notched seven saves to begin the year. Junior midfielder Colletta Ozbey led the Red Flash with three shots in the match.

LAST TIME WE MET
The Red Flash and the Colonials are very familiar with each other as they just faced off last season in which the Red Flash coasted to a 3-1 victory. Corinne Renninger, Rita Kendziora, and Lauren Pyle were the recipients of those goals as all three of them return for Sunday's match. Goalkeeper Sarah McConnon also had a solid match providing nine saves for the Red Flash. Saint Francis has dominated the all-time series with a 20-7-3 record and have won the past two matchups. 

UP NEXT
The Red Flash will stay on the road when they face La Salle University this upcoming Thursday at 6pm. This will be just the fourth time that these two teams have faced each other in the series history.
