Saint Francis played a complete 90 minute match when they picked up their first win of the season against the Delaware Blue Hens, 1-0. The lone goal was scored by sophomore midfielder Rita Kendziora during the 27th minute. Kendziora received the ball off of a beautiful centering pass from Tomke Dziesiaty that helped the Red Flash claim the victory. Goalkeeper Sarah McConnon notched six saves en route to her first shutout win of the 2022 season.

WORD ON NIAGARA
The Purple Eagles come into Sunday's match with an even 3-3 record in nonconference play so far representing the MAAC. Niagara is led by junior midfielder Amanda Cripps who leads the team with three goals and seven points on the season. In net, Niagara is represented by Felicia Grufman who has started all but one match for the Purple Eagles registering 12 saves and three goals allowed.

LAST TIME WE MET
The last time these two teams met was during the 2019 season in which the Purple Eagles escaped with a slim 2-1 victory over the Red Flash. Saint Francis has three wins all time against Niagara with their last victory in the 2011 season.
