TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
With Saint Francis holding a 57-55 lead with 10:21 left in the game, the Knights used its pressure defense to go on a 13-4 run to take a 10-point lead at 70-62 with 7:53 on the clock. The Red Flash cut it to six late in the contest, but could get no closer.

FLASH QUOTES
"I thought defensively in the first half we did a pretty good job, and we made some adjustments to start the second half. The one statistic that we talked about was turnovers. We turned the ball over way too much in the second half and those turnovers led to them running downhill on us and that is a good basketball team and that's the way the play when you allow them to will their style. Those turnovers led to 28 points for them."– head coach Rob Krimmelon the game

"We will see how this group responds. I challenged them. This is a quick turnaround with a one o'clock game on Saturday. We have to learn from these things and make sure we come out at practice tomorrow and the game on Saturday understanding how we need to win and what got us here." – Krimmel on moving on to the next game

FLASH MOMENTS
Trailing 5-0, Saint Francis scored the next six points to take a 6-5 edge thanks to baskets by Cohen, Brad McCabe (Manasquan, N.J.) and Cam Gregory (Accokeek, Md.).

In the second half, with FDU holding a 47-41 advantage with 15:45 left, the Red Flash went on an 11-4 run to take a 52-51 edge with 13:35 remaining. Ruggery posted eight of his 11 points in this stretch.

FLASH NUGGETS
Cohen notched his 10th game with at least 20 points this season and his fifth with at least 26 points. The redshirt junior has posted 20 points in three-straight games for the second time this season and has posted 26 points or more in his last five road games and is averaging 30.2 points per game in that span. He registered three blocks in a game for the second time this season and first time since he had three rejections at Hawai'I on December 11.

Land kissed the ball off the glass with 7:43 left in the second half to cross the 700-point mark in his career. He is the 44th player in Red Flash NEC history to reach 700 points in his career and 16th player under Krimmel. The junior also moved over the 300 rebound mark. He has scored double figures in five of his last seven games.

Ruggery notched his fourth 10-point game this season and fifth of his career, but his 11 points on Thursday marked the first time he reached double figures on the road in his career. Hargis reached double figures for the second-straight game for the second time this season, and surpassed his rebound career high of eight, which he hit four times in his career.

Wisler Sanon II (Sicklerville, N.J.) added eight points and four rebounds, while Ronell Giles, Jr. (Brandywine, Md.) posted seven points. Gregory tallied four points, four assists and three steals.

Saint Francis is now 5-2 in league play for the fifth time in team history to match the second-best seven game start in team history. The 1990-91 team still holds the gold standard at 6-1 after seven contests.
