Bowling Set to Host Red Flash Classic

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Saint Francis University women's bowling will begin 2023 by hosting its annual home tournament, The Red Flash Classic.

Friday –
9:00 a.m. Coaches Meeting 
9:30 a.m. Opening Ceremonies & Team Introductions and National Anthem 
9:40 a.m. 12 Minutes of Open Practice 
9:52 a.m. 10 minutes of Practice on Starting Pair 
10:02 a.m. Field starts First Traditional Game 
5:30 p.m. Complete 
 
Saturday –
9:00 a.m. Start Senior Recognition 
9:30 a.m. Start Practice 12 Minutes of Open Practice 
9:45 a.m. Start Practice 10 minutes on Starting Pair 
9:55 a.m. Start 5 Games of 5 Bakers 
4:30 p.m. Complete
 
Sunday –
8:30 a.m. Start 12 Minutes of Open Practice 
8:45 a.m. Start 10 minutes of Practice on Starting Pair 
8:55 a.m. Start of 3 Best of 7 Bakers 
3:00 p.m. (rough estimate of time) Award Ceremony
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash last competed at the NEC #2 where the team placed fourth after going 4-3 overall. Mackenzie Keane finished on top for the Red Flash and eighth overall in the tournament after knocking down a sum total of 1,383. Keane's best game was a 226 in game four of the tournament.
 
LAST TIME AT THE RED FLASH CLASSIC
Saint Francis finished second overall at last year's home tournament after going 10-2 overall. The team went 5-0 in baker matches and only lost one game in traditional matches to Walsh University. The Red Flash made it to the championship round to take on Morgan State. The team came up just 40 pins short of claiming top place.
 
UP NEXT
Following this weekend's tournament, the Red Flash will have a weekend off before heading to Baltimore, Md., to take on the James Brown Invite, hosted by Morgan State.
