NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Saint Francis University women's basketball fell to 1-2 in conference play with a 64-60 loss against Central Connecticut.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
With the game tied 8-8 halfway through the first quarter, Saint Francis produced an 8-1 run over the final five minutes of the fame and led 16-9. Saint Francis continued its run with a 7-3 start to the second quarter before an 8-2 run by Central Connecticut cut the Saint Francis lead to 25-20. Across the final four minutes of the half, the Red Flash build an 11-point, 35-24, lead.
In the third quarter, Central Connecticut started with an 8-2 run before Saint Francis took a 12-point, 44-32, lead with six minutes remaining in the quarter. The Blue Devils went on a 15-3 run across the remainder of the quarter and tied the game 47-47. Central Connecticut was either tied or led the entire fourth quarter. With 55 second remaining, Turner hit a three-point shot that tied the game before Central Connecticut regained the lead with 32 seconds remaining. The Blue Devils converted their free throws to seal a 64-60 win.
FLASH NUGGETS
Moore produced her third double-double of the season and second in the past four games. She grabbed her 300th-career rebound in the third quarter and now has 306. She raised her season total to 10.1 rebounds per game.
Turner's 12 points were a career-high, which was previously nine set on Dec. 16 at Youngstown State. She converted two three-point shots for the first time in her career.
