Fairleigh Dickinson opened the scoring in the 24th minute thanks to a Kiomy Luperon goal. Ana Salas would add an insurance goal in the 88th minute.
Saint Francis struggled to find a rhythm on offense until the final 20 minutes but could not put one in the back of the net.
FLASH MOMENTS
Saint Francis had the first chance of the afternoon in the fourth minute when Dziesiaty and found Mercedez Paino (Langhorne, Pa.) with a beautiful pass, but Paino's shot was blocked. Dziesiaty had a shot of her own blocked as well.
Dziesiaty made another excellent pass to Paino just a minute later, but Paino just missed Rita Kendziora (Duncansville, Pa.) on a back-post cross.
Saint Francis nearly had an opportunity to score when Dziesiaty almost got to a loose ball in the box, but the goalkeeper got to it first.
In the 71st minute, Sarah McConnon made a key save on a close range shot to keep the deficit at one.
The Red Flash finally started to build momentum on offense during the final 20 minutes of the match, with Dziesiaty nearly tying the game in the 78th minute.
Caterina Schiavo (Sicklerville, N.J.) put a shot on net just two minutes later, but was also denied.

Paino made her first career start in the contest.
McConnon has made at least four saves in each of the three games she has played all 90 minutes.
