Carter Glassmyer was named Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Dawson Snyder joined Glassmyer as an NEC Prime Performer.

Glassmyer finished with a game-high 13 total tackles (11 solo) with 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack to lead Saint Francis to its first victory of the season 15-10 over Stonehill. He guided a Red Flash defense that allowed a season-low 260 total yards of offense. The 10 points were the fewest allowed in the last 10 games played, dating back to a 57-7 victory over LIU last season.

The redshirt freshman leads the NEC with 24 solo tackles, is second with 41 total tackles and fifth with four tackles for loss. He has 29 total tackles (17 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss and one sack through the first two conference games.

Snyder recorded a season-high seven receptions, 87 receiving yards and one touchdown in the victory over Stonehill. He had two catches for 32 yards and drew a crucial pass interference penalty on the game-winning drive. He ranks second in the NEC with 286 receiving yards and fifth with 16 receptions this season.

The Defensive Player of the Week is Glassmyer's first of his collegiate career and he is the first selected for Saint Francis this season. He is now a Prime Performer in back-to-back weeks. Snyder's Prime Performer is the third of his career after he was a two-time selection last season.

Saint Francis has a bye week before hosting Wagner on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
