LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University football is set to face Duquesne on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. The Dukes are 2-0 in conference play, while the Red Flash are 2-1.

Offense
The Red Flash offense earned three Northeast Conference Prime Performer selections after a 31-7 victory over Wagner.
Jordan Jackson rushed for a career-high 128 yards and continues to pace the Red Flash with 296 rushing yards this season.
Dawson Snyder is coming off a season-high 110 receiving yards and leads the NEC with 393 this season. He is top-five in the conference with 22 receptions and 18 yards per reception this season.
Cole Doyle ranks second in the NEC with 169.7 passing yards per game and 10 passing touchdowns, while he leads the conference with a 56.8 completion percentage.
Deondre Scott has 167 all-purpose yards and three total touchdowns in the last two games after he had just 12 all-purpose yards in Saint Francis' first four games. After a season-high 434 total yards of offense, Saint Francis now ranks third in the conference with 336.7 total yards of offense per game.

Carter Glassmyer has earned an NEC Defensive Player of the Week selection after the last two games Saint Francis played. He has a conference-high 52 total tackles and is 42nd in the FCS with 8.7 tackles per game. Blye Hill is tied for 11th in the NEC with three pass breakups and is tied for the Saint Francis lead with one interception.
Eddie Bierals is top-10 in the NEC with four tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks this season. The Red Flash defense is fourth in the NEC with 27 points per game against and 377.8 total yards of offense allowed.

Aidan Cirulli holds a 39-yard average on punts this season and has produced three punts of at least 50 yards.

Saint Francis earned a 31-7 victory over Wagner in the first-ever NEC football game played on CBS Sports Network. The Red Flash scored the first two touchdowns of the game on four-yard and 21-yard passing touchdowns in the first half. Wagner cut into the deficit with a seven-yard touchdown pass with 28 seconds remaining in the first half. With a 14-7 lead, Saint Francis kicked a field goal and led 17-7 after three quarters. Aaron Tutino scored a fourth-and-goal from the four-yard line and opened a 24-7 lead with 10 minutes remaining in the final. A final touchdown with one minute remaining from Scott sealed the 24-point Saint Francis victory.

Scouting Duquesne
Duquesne enters Saturday's game with a 2-0 conference and 3-3 overall record, with NEC victories over LIU and Central Connecticut. Duquesne's losses came to FBS opponents West Virginia and Coastal Carolina, and nationally ranked FCS opponent Delaware. Quarterback Darius Perrantes leads the NEC with 182.8 passing yards per game and 11 passing touchdowns. He also carries a 52.2 completion percentage with 11 interceptions. Keshawn Brown and Darryl Powell, Jr. are third and fourth in the NEC with 60.3 and 59.7 receiving yards per game, respectively. Powell leads the conference with five receiving touchdowns, while Brown is tied for third with three. Taj Butts leads the rushing attack with 70 yards per game. Duquesne's leading tackler is Antonio Epps with 30, which ranks outside of the top-20 in the conference. Ayden Garnes is tied atop the conference with two interceptions and Jayden Johnson is top-10 with 4.5 tackles for loss. Kicker Brian Bruzdewicz is 4-for-6 on field goals with a season-long of 39 yards.

All-Time vs. Duquesne
Duquesne holds a 38-10 all-time advantage over Saint Francis since the first meeting in 1914. The Dukes also holds a 9-5 edge over the Red Flash since joining the NEC in 2008, but Saint Francis has won the last two meetings. During the two-game stretch, Saint Francis scored its matchup-high of 51 points in 2022 and earned a road victory over Duquesne in 2021 for the first time since 1992. The Dukes had a series-long 13-game winning streak between 1977-89 and won 23-of-25 meetings between 1977 and 2008.

Duquesne defeated Central Connecticut 44-20 to remain the only undefeated team in the NEC, while the Blue Devils fell to 0-2. Saint Francis defeated Wagner 31-7 in the only other conference game and moved both teams to 2-1. Yale defeated Sacred Heart 31-3 and Maine defeated LIU 24-13 in non-conference action.

Saturday marks the first time four conference games occur at the same time this season. Sacred Heart visits Stonehill, Central Connecticut visits Wagner, Merrimack visits LIU and Saint Francis visits Duquesne during the slate.Â
