Saint Francis men's tennis competed at the ITA Regional Invitational Qualifier over the weekend of Oct. 6-8. The Red Flash went 2-5 in singles and 3-2 in doubles during the tournament. 

Tyler Nguyen and Mathis Tremblay advanced to the round of 16 after wins over duos from Rider and Cornell. Nguyen improved to 8-2 in doubles on the year, while Tremblay improved to 4-4 in doubles. 

Kevin Kruzel and Zachary Palko also won their round of 64 match against St. Bonaventure. 

Nguyen and Alan Gonzalez both won their first-round matches against Fairleigh Dickinson and NJIT respectively before both falling to Penn in the next round. Gonzalez now sits at 6-5 on the year.  

Marc Fuste and Gregory Troyan also competed in the tournament. 

The Red Flash will return to action on Oct. 22-23 in the Bloomsburg Invite #2 in Bloomsburg, Pa.
