FRANKIES TIDBITS IN A FLASH
• Saturday's meeting between Saint Francis and Niagara marks the 27th meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 1921-22 season.
• The Red Flash has won the last two meetings when the series was last renewed during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons to even the series at 13 games apiece.
• The two-game winning streak by the Frankies ended a four-game winning streak by the Purple Eagles, including an 86-69 win in 2012-13 for their last win in the series.
• Saint Francis head coach
Rob Krimmel currently sits at 149 win as a head coach, needing one win to reach 150 victories.
• He would become the 181st active head coach with 150 wins in his career and the second to reach the milestone this season after Central Michigan's Tony Barbee reached the mark earlier this season.
• Currently there are 783 head coaches that have ever reached 150 career wins.
• Krimmel has registered 60.4 percent of his wins at DeGol Arena and fitting could win his 150th game as a head coach while coaching his 150th game in Loretto at DeGol Arena.
• Saint Francis has scored 100 points 12 times under Krimmel in his 12 seasons as a head coach. The Red Flash is 8-3 in the next games after scoring 100 points, including 9-1 in the next game the team plays at DeGol Arena.
• The Frankies lost for the first time in the following home game after scoring 100 points last season with a 66-55 loss to American on November 26, 2022.
• It will be the second time Niagara will be an opponent for the Red Flash after it reached 100 points in a game. The Loretto team defeated Niagara in the last meeting between the two teams in 2018-19 after downing Bloomsburg 113-59 three days prior.
• Keith Braxton scored the final four points in the last meeting in the last 26 seconds against the Purple Eagles for a 79-75 and finished the game with 25 points. He also hit the game-winning basket in a 71-70 win against Wagner in the NEC Semifinals in the 2016-17 season in the game that followed the only time the team scored 100 points in the postseason against Bryant in 2016-17.
• The number three is a significant number for the schedule this season. The Red Flash have three, three-game homestands and also have two three-game road trips with one starting after the game against Niagara.
• The squad also plays three teams from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference over the next 21 days (or three weeks), starting with Niagara on Saturday. Saint Francis will also travel to Iona (December 10) and host Mount St. Mary's (December 15).
• The Red Flash will play a team from the MAAC for the first time since the last two meetings against the Purple Eagles.
• Prior to the series with Niagara, the last MAAC school the team has faced was Iona in 2008-09.
• The Red Flash is 8-15 all-time against the MAAC with a 7-5 record in Loretto.
• Saint Francis is 69-93 against teams from New York state in non-conference play, but has a winning record against the Empire State in Loretto with a 34-16 record.
• Last season, the Red Flash lost at Saint Bonaventure in the season opener and then fell to Cornell at home.
• The Bonnies frequent the Saint Francis schedule the most by a team from New York, appearing on the schedule 43 times, while the Buffalo area teams are next on the list with Canisius (29 times) and Niagara (26 times) combining for 55 games against the Frankies.
• The last win against a team from the Empire State was win against Niagara in 2018-19 with the victory the previous season in Buffalo against the Purple Eagles being the last win in non-conference against a team in New York.
• Le Moyne, who joined the NEC this season, has been on the schedule five times, while Saint Francis played Marist 31 times when the Red Foxes were in the NEC.
• The Red Flash begins a three-game road trip with two games against the Patriot League at Lehigh on November 29 and at American on December 2.
• With the exception of the COVID-19 season, the Frankies have battled both American and Lehigh every season in Krimmel's 12 seasons as head coach.

• Be the team's third-straight win against Niagara
