The Saint Francis bowling team will finish the 2023 portion of the schedule at the second Northeast Conference regular season tournament at the Trindle Bowl in Mechanicsburg, Pa., on December 2-3.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash (22-24, 5-2 NEC) went 7-6 at the UMES Hawk Classic prior to Thanksgiving break. Coach Ashley Bingham's squad managed upsets over No. 1 Vanderbilt and No. 8 Sam Houston State on the first two days, wins that helped them to a 12th-place finish out of the 22-team field. Senior bowler Samantha Timm earned NEC Prime Performer honors for her efforts, her second such occasion receiving the weekly conference award.

WHAT'S ON THE LINE
The Frankies are battling in the second of three regular-season conference tournaments this weekend, with the combined record of the three determining the positioning for the NEC postseason tournament in late March. 

The first NEC regular season tournament in early November saw the Flash finish with a 5-2 record, placing them third out of the eight-team field. Only Merrimack and Sacred Heart sit ahead of Saint Francis in the conference, both possessing 6-1 records and not suffering a loss at the hands of the Red Flash this season.

ONE LAST RIDE
The second NEC tournament will be the last collegiate bowling competition for senior bowler Kassidy Landwehr, who will be graduating this fall from Saint Francis. The fourth-year bowler will look to contribute mightily this weekend, something she has done all season long. Landwehr's performance in the first regular season conference tournament earned her conference Prime Performer honors, an award which she has become quite familiar with over her four years bowling for the Red Flash.
