ATLANTA – Saint Francis University softball fell 7-0 to Georgia Tech, who received votes in national polls ahead of the weekend. Saint Francis ended 2-2 at the Buzz Classic.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
» Georgia Tech struck first with four runs in the first inning, all charged to Vesco. A wild pitch drove in Vukadinovich, followed by a one-run single. Marsden entered the game for Vesco and gave up a two-run single up the middle and the Yellow Jackets took a 4-0 lead.
» After four scoreless innings, Pietrzykoski recorded the first Red Flash hit in the sixth inning. With two outs in the sixth, Georgia Tech drove in three more runs on back-to-back singles.
» Saint Francis produced one baserunner in the seventh inning before Georgia Tech clinched its victory.
