LORETTO, Pa. – Former Saint Francis University offensive lineman
Tre'Quan Dorsey was selected in the USFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Maulers on Tuesday.

Dorsey was selected in the third round with the 17th overall pick. The Maulers selected quarterback Lindsey Scott Jr., the Walter Payton Award winner, from Incarnate Word with the second overall pick. With its second-round pick, Pittsburgh selected defensive end Malik Hamm from Lafayette. Dorsey was the only Northeast Conference player selected in the 10-round draft.

The Sterling, Va. native played two seasons with Saint Francis after he spent two seasons at Lackawanna College, where he appeared in the NJCAA National Championship game. He was a 2022 All-NEC First Team selection and started all-12 games at left tackle. He protected the blindside for NEC Offensive Player of the Year and Walter Payton Award Finalist, quarterback
Cole Doyle.

He was part of an offensive line that ranked 11th in the FCS with 1.08 sacks allowed per game. In 2022, Saint Francis set single-season records in passing touchdowns (30), total touchdowns (54), points scored (431) and total offense (5,147).

The Maulers are set to open the 2023 season at home against the Tampa Bay Bandits on Monday, April 17 at 8 p.m. on FS1.
