TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Saint Francis scored nine times in the first half to take the lead it would not relinquish. Bella Fisher got the scoring started when she found the back of the net on a free position shot 31 seconds into the first match of the season for the Flash. First goal of the season, first collegiate goal of her career, what a way to start!

McHenry gave the Red Flash a 2-0 lead at 9:04 and then after a Lancers score Roncarati (2:03), Danielle Hernandez (New Fairfield, Conn.) (1:21) and Dickson (0:23) finished the first quarter with three-straight goals in the final 2:03 of the period.

McHenry (14:48, 10:21), Givens (12:04) and Bella Fisher (11:25) posted the first four goals of the second quarter and continued the Saint Francis string of seven unanswered goals for a 9-1 advantage. Longwood halted the run, but Roncarati found the second time at 4:39 to give the Red Flash a 9-2 lead going into the locker room.

FLASH QUOTES
"What a great team win today! It was a fun game because both ends of the field played so well. The defense was in shut down mode & did an awesome job stifling Longwood's attack. That gave our offense so much confidence & allowed us to play free. To have 10 different players involved in scoring made our attack very dangerous today." - head coach Tracy Coyne on the game

FLASH MOMENTS
Saint Francis started quick off the draw in the second half when Chyler Espino (San Francisco, Calif.) got the draw control and found Lizzy Fisher (Hagerstown, Md.) wide open 12 seconds into the final 30 minutes.

Givens added two more scores to complete her first career hat trick at 10:39 in the fourth quarter. Dickson, McHenry and Tori Petrie (Whitney Point, N.Y.) all found the back of the cage in the final two minutes to seal the 16-6 win. Patten registered the assist on Petrie's goal with 20 seconds left in the match.
