SAN DIEGO, CA. – The Red Flash picked up their first win of the San Diego State Inviational on Friday night against Siena. Saint Francis also played in a highly competitive game earlier in the day against Villanova but came up just short.

STATS/NOTES

• Saint Francis was led in the scoring department by Emese Szucs who had three goals in the game.
• Abigail Carter and Caylah Olay each notched two goals for the Red Flash in a highly contested 32 minutes.
• The Red Flash were down 6-5 at the half but eight second half goals led Villanova to victory.
• Isabel Lumley started in net and recorded eight saves to help the Saint Francis defensive effort.

• Taylor Halbauer had one of her better scoring inputs this season as she tallied four goals in the Saint Francis win. 
• California native Addison Williams had three goals for the Red Flash with Carter chipping in two more goals on the day.
• Lumley finished the day in goal as she recorded three saves for Saint Francis
• The Red Flash have now improved to 7-0 all-time against Siena dating back to the 2017 season.
