HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Saint Francis University women's tennis won 6-1 over Lafayette in Hilton Head, S.C. The match was Saint Francis' first official of the trip after Sunday's match against George Mason was postponed midway through due to inclement weather.

Doubles
Saint Francis took all-three doubles matches to earn the point against Lafayette.
Kelly Dowuona and
Anoek Pruijmboom won 7-6 in the No. 1 match,
Marie Discini and
Bente Vandeputte won 6-4 in the No. 2 match and
Valeria Vinces and
Dominique Yeo won 6-2 in the No. 3 match.
Singles
Saint Francis took five of the six singles matches to clinch its dominant victory. Vandeputte won 6-0, 6-2 in No. 1 singles, Yeo won 6-1, 6-4 in No. 2 singles and Dowuona won 6-2, 7-5 in No. 5 singles. Vinces won 7-6 (10-3), 6-0 in No. 4 singles and
Nagisa Miyake rounded out the Red Flash wins with a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4) win in the No. 6 match.
