TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Saint Francis raced out to an 11-2 lead after 30 minutes. Hernandez gave the Red Flash the lead it would not relinquish at 10:06 left in the first quarter to break a 1-all standstill. The junior then twinkled the twine at 7:21 in the first quarter and 12:32 in the second quarter to record a hat trick in just 17 minutes and 28 seconds. Givens also had a hat trick in the first half with tallies at 10:11 and 5:32 in the first quarter and completed her hat trick right after Hernandez turned the trick at the 11:12 mark in the second quarter. The Red Flash scored 10 unanswered goals starting with Fisher's tally at 10:55 in the first quarter.

FLASH QUOTES
"There are certain instances when you win a game and don't really feel satisfied with your performance. Today was that kind of a win. After controlling the first three quarters, we allowed Delaware State to score nine unanswered goals over a 15-minute period which effectively erased a 12-goal lead. Delaware State's attack got hot in the fourth quarter. Not only were the Hornets shooting lights out, but they also crushed us on the draw circle. We couldn't find an answer. It's a good thing the clock ran out or it may have been a different outcome." - head coach Tracy Coyne on the game
"While we are excited and proud to be off to such a great start, there is a lot of work to be done. We value the opportunity to get better. Any time a weakness is exposed, it is addressed in practice. Delaware State showed a lot of heart, determination & grit today. Playing such a competitive game today will help us improve so we are prepared for the NEC schedule." - Coyne on starting 3-1

FLASH MOMENTS
Saint Francis scored the first three goals of the second half off the stick of Autumn McHenry (Branford, Conn.) and a pair from Fisher in the first eight minutes of the final 30 minutes to take a 15-3 lead. Fisher would cap the scoring, a hat trick in the second half and her four-goal performance with 18 seconds left to complete the 16-12 win against the Hornets.

FLASH NUGGETS
Hernandez notched her third career hat trick and registered four points in a game for the second time in her career. The first time the junior had four points was against Kent State, who is the Red Flash's next opponent, on March 19, 2021. Hernandez ranks second on the team with six goals and two assists for eight points.

Fisher has registered the team's first score in a game for the third time in four games. After scoring twice against Longwood on February 22 in the season-opener and once against Lehigh on February 25, the freshman becomes the second player this season and the fourth player on the team to register four goals in a game this season. McHenry registered four tallies in the win against Longwood for the only other four-goal game this season for the Red Flash.

Givens registers her second hat trick in four games after posting three scores against Longwood in the season opener. The freshman registered the go-ahead goal and the assist on the eventual game-winner against Akron in a 5-4 win on Friday.

McHenry finished the game with two goals for her fourth-straight multi-goal performance. She leads the team with 10 goals and two assists for 12 points. The graduate student added a team-high four draw controls on Sunday.

Colleen Roche (Miami, Fla.) dished out a career-high three assists. The sophomore had a career-best two helpers against CCSU last season.

Kelly Dickson (Blue Bell, Pa.) registered a goal and an assist with two ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover. Chyler Espino (San Francisco, Calif.) registered four ground balls, a caused turnover and two draw controls.

Enrique registered 15 saves and became the third goalkeeper in program history with 400 saves. She currently has 412 stops in her career. It is the second time this season the netminder has registered double figures in saves.

The Loretto program has started the season 3-1 for the second time in program history. The 2017 team also started the year 3-1 before losing its fifth game to fall to 3-2 on the year.
