"We can't thank our seniors enough for all they have given to the lacrosse program and to the broader SFU community. It's through their commitment and leadership we have been able to have this amazing season. They will always hold a special place in our hearts."

FLASH NUGGETS
Saint Francis will make its first-ever NEC Tournament appearance on Thursday when the Red Flash battle top-seed and host Sacred Heart. The squad had a chance to move up to the No. 2 seed with a win, but with the loss and coupled with LIU's win against FDU on Saturday the squad will be the No. 4 seed in the tournament.
Â
Lizzie Fisher registered her fourth hat trick of the season and registered her second career three-assist performance. The last time the senior had three goals and three assists in a game was her last game of 2022 against Howard on March 30, 2022. It is the fourth time in her career that she has dished out multiple helpers in game.
Â
Along with becoming the single-season leader in goals, McHenry has moved into second place on the single-season chart with 68 points. The graduate student also tied the single-game program record for goals and points in a match in her final season in Loretto. McHenry has registered at least a hat trick in each of her last seven games and has grabbed at least six draw controls in five of her last six tilts.
Â
Burke tied
Peyton LeConte's single-game record for caused turnovers with her six caused miscues on Saturday. It is the third time in team history a player has had six caused turnovers in a game after LeConte turned the trick twice in her career. Burke's seven ground balls are also the ninth most in single-game program history. In addition, Burke broke Lindsay Ingram's (23, 2013) freshmen caused turnover record with 26 caused turnovers, while her 36 ground balls also set a new freshmen standard breaking Katy Green's (34, 2002) mark.
Â
With her two assists, Hernandez has now dished out the second most assist in program single-game history and she is two feeders away from tying the record. She also moved into seventh place on the single-season chart with 57 points thanks to her 32 goals and 25 assists this season.
The loss snapped a program-long six-game winning streak. The squad finished the regular season with a program record in overall wins (10) and conference wins (5).
Â
Prior to the game, Saint Francis honored seniors Dickson,
Lizzie Fisher, Enrique, McHenry,
Bella Barnard (Milwaukee, Wisc.),
Erika Ellison (Everett, Wash.) and
Julea Jamison (Pittsburgh, Pa.). All seven players were in the starting lineup. It was the final home game for all of the players, but
Lizzie Fisher and Ellison are returning for one more season in 2024.
