FLASH QUOTES
"What an amazing win. We knew it was a high stakes game and came ready to compete. Merrimack played us tough. Their defense was in a double face guard the entire game which can be very tough to beat. The attack handled the challenge with smart attacking possessions and by spreading out the scoring. Elyssa made key saves during the first quarter while we were settling in on attack that kept us in the game early. The defense caused 16 turnovers today with a few of those leading to fast break goals. Today's win was a total team effort. I am very proud of what we have accomplished so far this season. Looking forward to more success in the upcoming weeks."Â
– head coach Tracy Coyne on the game
