Women's Soccer Returns Home To Host Robert Morris

OPENING PITCH

Saint Francis University women's soccer returns home for a matchup against an old conference rival in Robert Morris. The Red Flash will look to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Niagara on Aug. 24. The series between the Western Pennsylvania schools began on Oct. 1, 1992 with Saint Francis topping the Colonials 4-0.

This will be the 16th time the two sides have met in Loretto.

THE WORD ON ROBERT MORRIS

Robert Morris is off to a 3-0 start in the 2023 campaign with wins over Virginia Military Institute, Hampton and Akron.

Lidia Nduka has four goals in those three games, and is tied for seventh in the nation in goals scored.

LAST TIME WE MET
The last time Saint Francis and Robert Morris played in a regular season matchup was on Aug. 21, 2022 in a game that the Red Flash lost 2-1 in Moon. Raine Korpics scored her first career goal in the contest.

FLASH NUGGETS
Michele Palguta registered a Saint Francis program record four assists in the 1994 edition of this matchup. The Red Flash won 9-0 that day.

UP NEXT
The Red Flash return hit the road again on Thursday, Aug. 31 for a matchup against Delaware. Kick off will be at 4:00 p.m., at Stuart and Suzanne Grant Stadium in Newark, Del.
