Saint Francis men's and women's tennis turned in a strong showing at the Bloomsburg Invitational #1 over the weekend. The women went 14-4 in singles and 10-5 in doubles, while the men went 9-2 in singles and 7-2 in doubles.
Both teams started the weekend strong, with the women going undefeated in singles, and the men going undefeated entirely on Friday.

For the second consecutive weekend, every Saint Francis player to participate in the tournament earned at least one win.
Three pairings went undefeated for the weekend.
Tyler Nguyen and
Kevin Kruzel,
Diana Zuba and
Reagen Mangan, and
Samantha Quezada and
Mallory Thomas. The former two pairings went undefeated for the second consecutive tournament, bringing them both to 6-0 on the season.
Zuba is still undefeated in both doubles and singles so far this season with an 11-0 record. She went 2-0 in singles in Bloomsburg.
Mangan, Thomas, Quezada, Nguyen, and
Patrick Reese all went undefeated on the weekend as well.

Nguyen capped off a strong start to his collegiate career by going 2-1 in singles, bringing his overall record for the weekend to 5-1.
Gretta Rhodes earned her first career doubles victory with
Valeria Vinces against Bloomsburg.

Both men's and women's tennis return to action at the Carnegie Invitational on Sept. 15-17.
