Women's Soccer Set to Host Delaware State

OPENING PITCH
Saint Francis women's soccer returns to NEC action when they host Delaware State on Thursday, Sep. 21. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at Stokes Soccerplex
 
It is the second of a two-game home stand for the Red Flash, and they will look to pick up their first points in conference play. Last time out, the Red Flash gave Central Connecticut State all they could handle in a narrow 2-1 defeat.

THE WORD ON DELAWARE STATE
The Hornets enter the matchup at 0-7. Nicole Cargill has scored both Delaware State goals this season. Ashley Maribo has made 71 saves for the Hornets so far.

LAST TIME WE MET
Saint Francis and Delaware State have met just once before. The meeting, occurring on Sep. 7, 2005, resulted in a 7-0 Saint Francis win in Loretto.

The Red Flash will head up to Massachusetts to play Stonehill in their first road conference game on Sunday, Sep. 24. Kick off will be at 11:00 a.m.
