FLASH QUOTES
"I thought we took a step forward tonight. Unfortunately, we needed to take two steps forward to win a game like that. I thought we executed for the most part for 40 minutes and did a pretty good job of taking care of the basketball against their pressure. Unfortunately, we needed again probably another step or two in order to win the game but we did do some good things. It's disappointing to play hard and come up short."
– head coach Rob Krimmel on the game
Â
"There have been situations in my playing career and in my coaching career where you just got to understand that it's going to be tough at times, but you got to dig down and find that override switch and everybody has it. There is no exact plan for it and here are some things that you can do as a coach and there's some things that you can do as a player. I'm excited to see where this group can go. I really am because they do have an in them, but just have to find the ability to do it consistently day in and day out, night in night out."
– Krimmel on the current stretch
Â
"Everything is about the team for me. I know that we're better than this. I know that we are the tougher team every night and we just have to keep displaying that and there's going to be ups and downs throughout the season. But we will we will reach that point.
" – Gregory on the current stretch
Â
He definitely plays hard every night. Aidan's a fierce rebounder, and he might not score a lot of points, but he plays the hardest out of everybody every night. He's the glue guy for us. And he's a great player, no matter if he scores 20 points, or zero points." –
Gregory on Aidan Harris
Â
"My family and I were very stoked. I mean, I've been working my whole life to play at a school just like this and the emotions were through the roof when Saint Francis University allowed me to come play here on a full ride scholarship. I've never been more grateful in my entire life."
– Aidan Harris on coming to Saint Francis
Â
"Coach
Eric Taylor brought a word to me that I've actually never knew existed when it came to basketball and it's called grime. I know it means to work hard, and push that override button. And I'm going do whatever it takes to make that word speak into existence."
– Harris on grime
